About HIGHFIRE: EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Welcome to HighFire

Every wildfire begins somewhere. A discarded campfire, a lightning strike, a vehicle accident, or a simple mistake can quickly escalate into a major emergency. As a firefighter with HighFire, it is your responsibility to contain these incidents before they become catastrophic.

Set across the fictional American state of Highland, HighFire: Emergency Response delivers an immersive open-world experience inspired by real-world wildland firefighting operations. From initial attack to large-scale campaign fires, every callout presents unique challenges that require quick thinking, teamwork, and strategic decision-making.

Respond to Dynamic Emergencies

Every incident is generated with unique conditions, ensuring no two responses are the same. Attend a wide variety of emergencies including:

  • Grass Fires
  • Brush Fires
  • Forest Fires
  • Lightning Strike Fires
  • Escaped Campfires
  • Vehicle Fires Spreading into Vegetation
  • Structure Protection Incidents
  • Major Wildfire Campaigns
  • Emergency Assistance Calls

Advanced Fire Simulation

HighFire features a custom-built wildfire simulation system where fire reacts naturally to its environment. Fire behaviour is influenced by numerous environmental factors including wind speed, wind direction, fuel type, vegetation density, terrain, burn duration, and fire intensity, creating realistic and unpredictable wildfire behaviour.

Authentic Equipment

Use specialised wildfire suppression equipment to combat fires and protect communities. From simple hand tools to powerful fire engines, every piece of equipment plays an important role during an incident, with additional vehicles and aerial resources planned for future updates.

Explore Highland State

Protect a vast open world inspired by the landscapes of the western United States. Travel through forests, grasslands, mountains, deserts, rural communities, and remote wilderness areas, each presenting their own unique firefighting challenges.
